Why "Aloha Institute"?
Institute is defined as: a society or organization having a particular object or common factor, especially a scientific, educational, or social one.
We want our name to reflect the values that we believe help make the tech industry a great place to be, by sharing the Aloha Spirit.
Is it really Free Training?
Yes. We do not charge beginners who want to learn on any of the Career Paths.
We have paid internships for those who can create our projects while they continue to learn.
Why Hawaiian Residents?
We want to give back to the community that welcomed us when we first arrived here.
It is also good to be in the same time zone.
Do I have to be Native Hawaiian?
No. But you must have your home in the islands.
We are located on the island of Oahu.
